Ann, Thanks for stopping by my blog! You asked me about my chandelier. I got it at Lowes a couple of years ago. But if I had a brass one, I would TOTALLY spray paint it. They make a great oil-rubbed bronze spray paint now. I have a can in my garage, and I spray painted a lamp with it and it turned out great. It would definitely be better than the brass. If you do spray paint your chandy, be sure to buy a can of KILZ primer spray paint and paint it with that first. It's about 4 or 5 dollars at Lowes. Then paint the chandy with your color. I got my oil rubbed bronze spray paint at Lowes too for a few bucks. You could paint it black or heirloom white too. Let me know what you decide. I will be anxious to see the results! Blessings, Traci
